Policies
By scheduling an appointment with Urban Unwind you are agreeing to the policies listed below, and accepting the terms of service in full.
First time clients intake forms
If you are a first time client, please plan on an extra 10 minutes to fill out the proper paperwork and perform a consultation..
Late arrivals
If your session starts late as a result of your actions or tardiness, your session may reflect a shortage of time in order for me to stay on schedule and accommodate clients who follow you. You will be charged the full price for the amount of time you booked for.
For example: You booked a 90 minute from 10-11:30, but upon my arrival, you were on the phone and could not start your session until 10:20. I will stop the session at 11:30 and you will be charged the full amount for the 90 minutes.
Out of respect for me and for those clients who follow you, please be on time.
No-shows
Clients who forget or choose to miss their appointment for any reason will be considered a "no-show," and will be charged in-full for their missed appointment before they can schedule another.
This includes gift certificates; if you make an appointment and reserve it with a gift certificate and then miss the appointment, or fail to cancel 24 hours in advance, the gift certificate will be used as payment for reserved services.
Topicals
When using oils, I use organic coconut, olive, avocado oil blends. If you have any kind of allergy, please let me know BEFORE your appointment.
Reoccurring Appointments
I fill my appointment book quickly, often weeks ahead.
I try to squeeze in clients whenever possible.
The greater advanced notice, the easier it will be to work around your schedule.
It is wise to set up regularly scheduled therapy times.
Regularly scheduled clients have priority over occasional clients.
Standing Appointment Discounts
I offer discounted rates for standing appointments based on frequency, and established days/times. Once you deter from your schedule, the discount is no longer extended and traditional rates apply.
Adding Time
If scheduling allows, time can be added to any massage for an additional fee.
Holding Appointments
A credit card is required to hold any appointment time, in accordance with our policies, however the appointment is to be paid for in cash. We accept CASH ONLY.
The exception is holding a reservation with a gift certificate. In the event you do not keep your appointment reserved with your gift certificate, the gift certificate will be used as payment for reserved services.
Cancellation policy
If you do not give 24 hours notice of cancellation, your credit card will be charged the full service amount.
This includes gift certificates; if you make an appointment and reserve it with a gift certificate, then miss the appointment, or fail to cancel 24 hours in advance, the gift certificate will be used as payment for reserved services.
Blocking off time
Set-up and break-down takes additional time,
Plan for an additional 20-30 minute time frame (at no additional charge).
Under most circumstances, it takes less time to setup and breakdown. It is wise to plan your schedule accordingly.
For example, if you are scheduling a 60 minute massage, block off 80-90 minutes on your schedule.

I try to maintain hours of Monday-Friday 8:30-6:00, there is definitely some wiggle room though.

I am a highly regarded, professional, Arizona Licensed Massage Therapist (AZ LMT).
Requests or behavior suggesting otherwise will immediately stop the therapy session,
your will be charged the full amount of service before discounts were applied,
with an additional 30% gratuity automatically added on.
The authorities will be promptly notified.
Urban Unwind has a zero tolerance policy.
